1. What are cookies?
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how we use them, the types of cookies we use i.e, the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used, and how to manage the cookie settings.
Cookies are small text files that are used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help us make the website function properly, make it more secure, provide better user experience, and understand how the website performs and to analyze what works and where it needs improvement.
2. How do we use cookies?
As most of the online services, our website uses first-party and third-party cookies for several purposes. First-party cookies are mostly needed for the website to work properly. Most of them hold only a random identifier or a setting, not your name or contact details.
The third-party cookies used on our website are mainly for understanding how the website performs, how you interact with our website, keeping our services secure, providing advertisements that are relevant to you, and all in all providing you with a better and improved user experience and help speed up your future interactions with our website.
Support cookies: used only when you open our chat support window, to enable conversation continuity. We only load our live chat (Intercom) when you click the “Chat with us” button; if you do not click, no chat cookies will be placed.
3. Types of Cookies we use
Our website uses various types of cookies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze usage patterns, and provide personalized content. These may include:
- Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional cookies: These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization.
- Performance cookies: These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site.
- Targeting cookies: These cookies relate to advertising. Those set through our site by our advertising partners may be used by them to build a profile of your interests. Our own targeting cookie,
ath-ad-attribution, is not used to build a profile of you: it only records which of our adverts or campaigns brought you to our site, and it is only set if you switch on "Advertisement" in our cookie banner.
Note: some cookies are only placed when you initiate our live chat feature.
Cookies we set ourselves
These cookies are set by our own website. Except for ath-ad-attribution, which is only set if you accept advertising cookies, they are not switched on or off by the choices you make in our cookie banner; the category shows what each one is for. You can delete them in your browser at any time (see section 5).
| Cookie name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieyes-consent | Remembers the choices you made in our cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. | Essential | 1 year |

ath_bkm_token_[booking reference] | Lets you manage your booking (for example cancel it or share it) after you open the link in your booking email, without typing your details again. One cookie per booking. | Essential | Up to 30 days, or 2 hours when you return from payment |

__Secure-ath-customer.session_token | Keeps you signed in to your Airport Taxi Hub account. | Essential | 60 days if you choose “Keep me signed in”. Otherwise until you close your browser, and you are signed out after 24 hours at most |
__Secure-ath-customer.dont_remember | Records that you did not choose “Keep me signed in”, so you are signed out when you close your browser. | Essential | Session |
ath-voucher | Remembers a discount code from a campaign link you clicked, so it can be applied when you book. | Functional | 30 days, or until the code is used or replaced |
ath-referral-code | Remembers which of our partners (for example a hotel) sent you to us, so that partner is credited if you book. | Performance | 7 days |
ath-ad-attribution | Remembers which ad or campaign brought you to our site, so a booking made on a later visit is credited to it. Only set if you accept advertising cookies in our cookie banner, and deleted if you later turn them off. | Targeting | 30 days |
next-auth.session-token, next-auth.csrf-token, next-auth.callback-url | Used only when a member of our team signs in to our internal tools. Customers never receive them. | Essential | Session, or up to 30 days for the sign-in cookie |
On a secure connection some browsers show these names with a __Secure- or __Host- prefix. That is the same cookie.
Cookies set by our partners
These cookies are set by services we use. You can choose whether to allow them in our cookie banner, except Stripe's, which are needed to take your payment safely and are not controlled by the banner.
| Cookie name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |

Keeping our own visits out of our statistics
We count visits to our website to understand how it is used. So that visits from our own team do not distort those numbers, our website uses the two first-party cookies below. Each holds only the value “1”. They are also used to stop bookings made from these browsers being reported to our advertising partners as sales. They contain no name, email address or other personal information, and they are not used to show you adverts, to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.
These two cookies are set by our website itself and are not affected by your cookie settings choices. You can delete them in your browser at any time.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ath_internal | Marks visits that we treat as coming from our own team, so they are left out of our website statistics. | Performance | Up to 2 years, or until the team member switches it off |
ath_geo_pk | Marks visits that we treat as coming from our own team, so they are left out of our website statistics. | Performance | Session (normally deleted when you close your browser) |
Live Chat Support (via Intercom)
We provide a live chat support service on our website using the chat widget from Intercom. We only load the chat service after you click the “Chat with us” button, which means:
- Before you click, no Intercom cookies are placed and no tracking from the chat widget is active.
- Once you click to open the chat, our system loads the Intercom widget and associated cookies, which become strictly necessary for providing the chat conversation you requested.
- The cookies set by Intercom allow us to remember your chat session, show previous messages, and provide faster, personalized support.
Cookies set by Intercom
When you open the chat we may set cookies such as:
intercom-id-[app_id]: an anonymous visitor identifierintercom-session-[app_id]: session identifierintercom-device-id-[app_id]: device identifier
These cookies are first-party (on our domain) and do not track you across other websites. We treat these cookies as “Essential for the chat service” once you click to open chat.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Category | Trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
intercom-id-[app_id] | Identifies chat session & device for support via Intercom | Essential (on user click) | Chat button click |
intercom-session-[app_id] | Identifies chat session & device for support via Intercom | Essential (on user click) | Chat button click |
intercom-device-id-[app_id] | Identifies chat session & device for support via Intercom | Essential (on user click) | Chat button click |
How to disable or opt-out
If you use the chat and then decide you no longer wish chat cookies to be placed, you can either close the chat window and clear cookies in your browser (e.g., delete intercom-* cookies); or avoid clicking the chat button in future. Clearing these cookies will mean we cannot retain your previous chat history and your conversation may start afresh.
4. Manage cookie preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page, or the button below. It opens our cookie banner again, so you can change your preferences or withdraw your consent straight away.
Our live chat widget via Intercom is loaded only when you click the “Chat with us” button; if you do not click, no chat cookies will be placed.
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings (see section 5).
