How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to the city centre?

The airport sits north east of Antalya and the run into town is short, so the question here is rarely how long it takes. It is what you do with cases, a late landing, and a hotel address that may not be in the centre at all.

Our price is agreed when you book and does not move afterwards. A rank car is metered instead, and the airport itself publishes no figure for that meter: it posts a fare board beside the rank and you read it when you get there, at the end of the flight rather than before it. Who sets the tariff behind that board, and how far we got with it, is set out below.

The cheaper ways into Antalya are real and we set them out below. What they ask of you is that you carry your luggage to a stop, pay with a card you may not have yet, and travel on somebody else's schedule.

Where a booked car earns its keep at this airport is the resort run. Most arrivals here are not going to Antalya at all, and nothing leaving the airport goes straight to Side, Belek, Kemer or Alanya.

Taxi from the airport rankCost: Metered. The airport publishes no fare of its own and posts an information board beside the rank instead. The tariff the meter runs on is set by UKOME at the metropolitan municipality, and we could not extract a current figure from the decisions it publishesJourney time: The airport gives about 20 minutes between the terminals and the city centreDoor to door? Where do I meet my driver at Antalya?

  1. Work through the arrivals sequence the airport publishes: visa desks before passport control if your nationality needs one, then passport control, then the baggage hall with its free trolleys, then the green customs channel if you have nothing to declare.
  2. Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email. That email arrives separately from the booking confirmation, so save the number to your phone before you fly.
  3. At Terminal 2 the airport publishes an arrival plan that marks both of the options you have bought between. The Private Transfer Passenger Pick-up Area out at Peron G and H is the express pick-up point, included in your fare. The Private Transfer Meet and Greet Area just outside the arrival doors, by the TÜRSAB and Tourism Police desks, is where a driver stands with a name board, and that is meet and greet, a paid extra at checkout.
  4. At Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal the airport publishes no such plan, so the phone call is what settles it. Walk past the rank rather than into it: the airport puts its taxi ranks directly in front of the arrival exits of every terminal, which is the first thing you will see, and your driver is not in that line.
  5. Your flight is tracked at no charge, and the booking carries 60 minutes free waiting after your flight lands, so a slow bag belt or a long passport queue does not cost you the car.

Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.

Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.

Rank, ride-hail, drop-off and the facts that move the meter

Three terminals, and they are not one building

Coming in off the Alanya road you pass International Terminal 1, then the Domestic Terminal, then the CIP Terminal, then International Terminal 2. A free ring service runs between the two international terminals, picking up at Departures. Tell us the terminal, not just the flight number, if you are connecting.

The tariff is the city's, and the airport prints none of it

Antalya's taxi fares are set by UKOME, the transport coordination centre of the metropolitan municipality, which puts taxi carriage charges to its general assembly and publishes its decisions at antalya.bel.tr. That listing renders only in a browser and we could not pull a current taxi figure out of it, which is why there is no meter number anywhere on this page. It is also why a fixed price and a metered one are not the same kind of thing to compare.

The cheap fare needs the right card

On an Antalyakart the city fare is TRY 42, and a student card is TRY 20. Arrive without one and you pay TRY 46 for a single-use ticket or TRY 50 tapping a contactless bank card. Those are the operator's current published figures for the Antalya network, carrying no effective date, and the arrival case is the dearest of the four.

(Antalyakart, Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi, checked 16 September 2026)

The free transfer is a city-network benefit, not an airport one

Antalyakart gives one free transfer between five minutes and one hour on the buses, and up to two hours between different tram lines. Single-use tickets and contactless bank cards are excluded, and so are terminal routes and a named list of lines. The operator does not say where the airport service sits in that list, so treat the transfer as something the city network offers rather than something to count on for the journey in.

(Antalyakart, Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi, checked 16 September 2026)

Nothing to the resorts leaves from the airport

The Side, Manavgat, Alanya and Aspendos runs are worked by the minibuses that serve Antalya province, and they go from the intercity bus terminal about 4 km north of the city centre. The Kemer minibuses go from the Kemer bus stop on the other side of town. Getting to either point is a journey in its own right before the one you wanted starts.

(Fraport TAV Antalya Airport, checked 16 September 2026)

The welcome desks outside the terminal are not us

Airlines run their own buses to the flight times and travel agencies run hotel shuttles, and the airport directs arriving passengers to their operator's welcome desk outside the terminal to find out which one serves their hotel. If you booked with us, you have a car and a driver's phone number, and no desk to find.

(Fraport TAV Antalya Airport, checked 16 September 2026)

Fifteen minutes free, and then the car park

There are more than 5,500 spaces about three minutes' walk from the terminals, with fifteen minutes free in the domestic transit area. Useful if somebody is dropping you off, and the reason a pick-up is the other way round: the driver comes to you rather than parking and waiting.

Antalya taxi questions

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to the city centre?

Our price is quoted live on this page and fixed the moment you book. A rank car is metered, and the airport publishes no fare of its own to check against: it says fare information is posted on a board beside the rank. The meter runs on the tariff UKOME sets, the transport coordination centre of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, and we could not extract a current figure from the decisions it publishes. So the difference is not which is cheaper on a given day. It is that one of the two numbers is known before you fly.

Is there a taxi rank at Antalya Airport?

Yes, one in front of the arrival exits of every terminal, and the airport states that all drivers working it carry special airport identity cards. The airport also names a taxi company it says it cooperates with, at antalyaairporttaxi.net, and says an online reservation can be made there. What it does not do is publish a fare, so a rank car is a queue you join and a meter you read afterwards.

Is there a tram or bus from Antalya Airport to the city centre?

Yes. The airport is served by municipal buses and by the AntRay tram, which runs the Havalimanı to Meydan to Fatih route and so links the airport, the city centre and the intercity bus terminal. If you land at Terminal 2, the airport's own arrival plan tells you to take the shuttle bus to Terminal 1 first, because that is where the tram is. The airport points you to the Antalyakart mobile application or the transport line on 0242 606 07 07 for times rather than publishing a timetable itself.

How much is the tram or bus fare from the airport?

These are the operator's current published fares for the Antalya city network, with no effective date on them. On an Antalyakart it is TRY 42, or TRY 20 on a student card and TRY 40 for pensioners and teachers. Without a card you pay TRY 46 for a single-use ticket or TRY 50 tapping a contactless bank card. The card fare also buys one free transfer within the hour on the buses, or two hours between tram lines, which single-use tickets and bank cards do not get. The operator excludes terminal routes and a named list of lines from transfers as well, and does not say where the airport service sits in that list.

Can I get a direct bus from Antalya Airport to Side, Belek, Alanya or Kemer?

Not from the airport. The Side, Manavgat, Alanya and Aspendos runs are worked by the minibuses that serve Antalya province, and they leave from the intercity bus terminal about 4 km north of the city centre. The Kemer minibuses leave from the Kemer bus stop west of the centre. You have to reach one of those first, which is the leg people forget when they compare the fare with a car, and a minibus is a smaller vehicle than the word suggests once four sets of holiday luggage are in it.

Which terminal will my driver meet me at?

Whichever one you land at. The two international terminals stand about 2.5 km apart, which the airport gives as roughly five minutes by car, and it tells passengers to use the public bus serving both of them or a taxi to cross between them. Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal have separate entrances but are connected, with direct access from one to the other, so nothing is needed between those two. A free ring service also runs every 20 minutes between the Domestic and Terminal 1 side and Terminal 2, picking up at Departures.

Where do I meet my driver at Antalya Airport?

At Terminal 2 the airport publishes an arrival plan with two private transfer points on it. The Private Transfer Passenger Pick-up Area is out at Peron G and H, past the taxi rank, and that is the express pick-up your fare already includes. The Private Transfer Meet and Greet Area is just outside the T2 arrival doors, next to the TÜRSAB and Tourism Police desks, and that is where a driver with a name board stands, which is meet and greet, a paid extra at checkout. For Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal the airport publishes no equivalent plan, so do what the booking says: ring your driver as soon as you land, on the number in your supplier details email, and they will tell you exactly where to walk.

My holiday includes a transfer. Is that the same thing?

No. Airlines run buses timed to the flights and travel agencies run hotel shuttles, and the airport tells you to find your operator's welcome desk outside the terminal to learn which one serves your accommodation. A shuttle is shared and waits to fill; what we sell is the whole vehicle, direct to your address.

How far are the resorts from Antalya Airport?

Alanya is the long one: the provincial culture and tourism directorate gives it as 130 km from the airport. Serik, the district Belek sits in, is 38 km east of Antalya on the Mersin trunk road, and Side is 5 km south west of Manavgat, a further 40 km east again. Kemer runs the other way, 43 km west of the city along the coast under the Western Taurus.

How many people fit in one car?

A saloon takes three passengers with three standard suitcases, an estate four passengers with the same three cases, and a people carrier five passengers with four. The largest vehicle we quote takes eight passengers and eight cases. Book on the luggage rather than the head count if you are a family arriving for a fortnight.

Can I get a child seat?

Yes, on request when you book. Give us the ages and we pass them to the supplier with the job. Seats are not something to count on finding at a rank, which is the usual reason families here book ahead.

What happens if my flight is late, and can I cancel?

We track the flight and move the pick-up to the real landing time at no extra charge, so book for the scheduled arrival rather than padding it, and the free waiting window included in your fare starts when the aircraft lands. Cancel more than 24 hours before pick-up and you pay nothing; inside 24 hours the booking is charged in full. Payment is online by card when you book, for the whole vehicle rather than per seat.

How far ahead do I need to book a transfer from Antalya Airport?

At least 24 hours before your pick-up. We can't take bookings at shorter notice here. If you have just landed and need a car now, the airport taxi rank is the quickest option.
