Dalaman Airport to Marmaris taxi
From £44.59 fixed for a pre-booked saloon to Dalaman Airport.
A private car from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris is from £44.59 for a saloon, fixed the moment you book. It covers 58.5 miles in about 1 hour 28 minutes. The thing that decides this pair is timing rather than distance: the scheduled coach is good value at 420 lira, but its operators return departures only in the Marmaris to airport direction, one travel date at a time, and lay the return on for domestic arrivals.

When not to book us: If you are one or two people landing in daylight with light bags and staying in Marmaris itself, take the coach. At 420 lira for the 97 km it is the cheapest honest way down the coast, and we would rather point you at it than pretend otherwise. Two things spoil that answer more often than the fare suggests. The first is timing: Havaş returns departures out of Marmaris towards the airport, for one travel date at a time rather than as a standing timetable, and nothing at all in the direction you are travelling, because the note on that direction says services are laid on for domestic flights landing at Dalaman. The second is the last mile. The coach ends at Marmaris bus terminal, which is behind the town rather than on the bay, and most British bookings here are in Armutalan, up the İçmeler road or out at a marina. MUTTAŞ runs town lines to all of those, six or seven kilometres to Armutalan and thirteen to İçmeler, but that is a second leg with cases at the end of a flight. A booked car is worth its money on a late landing, on a party of three or more where the per-head arithmetic collapses, and on any address that is not the terminal building. On the fare alone, over this distance, the rank is not the thing to beat: the cooperative publishes 5,000 lira for the run, which its own sheet converts to 85 pounds.
Where you meet your driver
- Book to the district and street, not to Marmaris. Armutalan, Siteler, Beldibi, the old town behind the castle and the Netsel marina are separated by real distance, and a driver sent to the wrong one costs you half an hour at the end of a flight.
- Come down to the arrivals level and contact your driver as soon as you land. The number is in your supplier details email rather than the booking confirmation, so save it to your phone before you leave home.
- Do not walk out to the car park by habit. That is where the Havaş vehicles load. YDA publishes no meeting point of its own for pre-booked drivers, so your driver is at the airport's designated pick-up point and will tell you on the phone exactly where that is.
- Express pick-up is included in your fare, with the driver waiting at the designated point. If you would rather be met in the arrivals hall with a name board, meet and greet is a paid extra chosen at checkout, and your flight is tracked either way, with the free waiting window in your fare starting at touchdown.
- The run crosses the Gökova junction and comes into Marmaris by way of Çetibeli, which MUTTAŞ lists as a stop on its own 48-7 line over the same ground. It is the road the scheduled services use, so an August afternoon is slow for everyone; the difference is that your fare was agreed before you set off.
Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.
Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.

Questions people ask about this route
How much is a taxi from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris?
Our price is quoted live above and fixed when you book. The rank is not metered here: the airport's named taxi cooperative publishes a fixed list which gives Marmaris at 105 km for 5,000 lira, and shows that same figure in its own columns as 100 euros, 85 pounds or 110 dollars.
Is there a bus from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris?
Yes, and two operators run it. Havaş gives the service as 420 lira over 90 minutes, calling at Dalaman, Ortaca, Köyceğiz and Gökova before Marmaris bus terminal. MUTTAŞ runs line 48-26 over the same 100 km. They quote the same fare because the Muğla airport fare table sets it at 420 lira for the 97 km, rounded to a multiple of ten.
What time does the bus leave Dalaman Airport for Marmaris?
No departure time is published for that direction. Havaş returns a departure list from Marmaris to the airport, but only for the single travel date you ask it for, so even that is not a standing timetable. In the airport to Marmaris direction it returns a note instead, saying services are laid on for domestic flights landing at Dalaman. If you are on a charter from the UK, treat the coach as something to find rather than something to plan around.
How long does the drive from Dalaman to Marmaris take?
Havaş allows 90 minutes for its own run over the 97 km, and a car without the Ortaca, Köyceğiz and Gökova stops is quicker than that. The road runs through Çetibeli, a stop MUTTAŞ lists on its own 48-7 line, before dropping into the bay, so summer afternoons and the change-over days move slower than the figure suggests.
Where does the coach drop me in Marmaris?
At Marmaris bus terminal, which is set back from the seafront rather than on it. From there MUTTAŞ town lines cover the rest: roughly six or seven kilometres to Armutalan on lines 10-2A, 10-2B and 10-2C, five to Siteler on 10-12, eleven to Yalancıboğaz and Adaköy on 10-17 and thirteen to İçmeler on 10-1A. Count that second leg into your comparison before deciding you have saved money.
Can the coach drop me somewhere along the way?
The airport says Havaş vehicles will set passengers down at designated points on the main route after leaving the airport, provided the driver is told in advance. That covers Ortaca, Köyceğiz and Gökova, at 220, 270 and 300 lira respectively on the same table. It does not cover an address off the main road.
Is it cheaper to fly to Bodrum for Marmaris?
Not by road. The airport that names Marmaris as one of the destinations its terminal capacity is built for is Dalaman, and Marmaris is the nearest large resort to it on the published airport fare table at 97 km. Anything further west adds a longer transfer, not a shorter one.
Can you collect from a hotel for an early flight home?
Yes, at any hour, at the price fixed when you booked. Early departures out of Marmaris are the one case where the scheduled option can work too, since Havaş does return departures in that direction. It publishes them one travel date at a time rather than as a standing timetable, though, so the first departure is not the same on every date and there is nothing to plan a flight home around months out. It also starts from the bus terminal rather than your hotel door.
How many of us fit, and can we have a child seat?
A saloon takes up to three passengers and three standard suitcases, an estate four passengers and three suitcases, a people carrier five passengers and four suitcases, and the largest vehicle we quote up to eight passengers. Child seats are on request when you book; give us the ages and we pass it to the supplier with the job.
What if we cancel, and how do we pay?
More than 24 hours before pick-up, nothing is charged. Inside 24 hours the fare is payable in full. Payment is by card online when you book and covers the vehicle rather than the seat count, so a family of four pays once.
