How much is a taxi from Dalaman Airport to Dalaman town centre?
Dalaman is one of the few holiday airports where the nearest town is a short hop rather than a journey. The terminal sits in Dalaman district itself, so the run into the centre is over in minutes and the price on this page is the smallest number the airport produces all year.
That matters more than it sounds, because almost nobody who lands here is going to Dalaman. The airport's own terminal page names Marmaris, Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Kalkan, Kaş, Göcek, Dalyan, Gökova, Sarıgerme and Datça as the places it exists to serve, and most of those are an hour or two away along the coast. The town is the exception, not the rule.
Our price is agreed when you book and does not move afterwards. The rank is worked by a single cooperative with a published price list rather than a running meter, so the figure you are quoted there is fixed too; it is simply fixed by somebody else, in lira. The airport itself publishes no rank location: the only address anyone puts in print is the cooperative's own branch, the taxi rank at the international terminal.
Where a booked car earns its keep at this airport is not the town run at all. It is the long hauls, the late landings after the last departure of the day, and the addresses up behind the resorts that no scheduled service was ever going to reach.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Airport Taxi Hub, pre-booked | Cost: From £16.15, fixed, including 60 minutes free waiting after your flight lands | Journey time: 11 minutes | Door to door? Yes | Pre-bookable? Yes |
| Taxi from the airport rank | Cost: A published fixed price list rather than a meter: 1,200 lira to Dalaman and Akkaya, 1,000 lira to Ortaca, 3,000 lira to Fethiye and 5,000 lira to Marmaris | Journey time: The cooperative publishes no journey time on its price list | Door to door? Yes | Pre-bookable? Yes |
| MUTTAŞ line 8-11 into Dalaman town | Cost: Our own reading of Muğla's band table puts the 17 kilometre line in the 15 to 20 kilometre band, 66 lira for an adult on the civilian column, while the table's footnote charges district minibus-class vehicles on the 2D Muğla Plus Kart column instead, 87 lira over the same band. Seven departures a day from the airport, the first at 07:50 and the last at 17:20, weekdays and weekends alike | Journey time: MUTTAŞ publishes no journey time for the line | Door to door? No | Pre-bookable? No |
| Havaş coach to Marmaris or Fethiye | Cost: 420 lira to Marmaris, 300 lira to Fethiye, 220 lira to Göcek or Ortaca | Journey time: 90 minutes to Marmaris and 60 to Fethiye, but laid on for domestic arrivals rather than international ones | Door to door? No | Pre-bookable? No |
| Ride-hailing app | Cost: The airport lists no ride-hailing service and publishes no pick-up zone for one | Journey time: Not applicable | Door to door? No | Pre-bookable? No |
Where do I meet my driver at Dalaman?
- Clear passport control and follow the signs down to arrivals. Both terminal buildings put arriving passengers on the ground and first floors and departing passengers above them, so everything to do with your pick-up happens on the lower levels.
- Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email. That email arrives separately from your booking confirmation, so save the number to your phone before you fly.
- Your booking carries 60 minutes free waiting after your flight lands, and your flight is tracked at no charge, so a slow belt in the baggage hall does not cost you the car.
- Express pick-up is included in the price you paid: your driver waits at the airport's designated pick-up point rather than inside the hall. Being met in the arrivals hall with a name board is meet and greet, a paid extra you add at checkout.
- Do not follow the ground transport signs by reflex. The taxi rank is worked by one cooperative, the Havaş vehicles load from the car park and the town minibuses load from the Departures floor, and your driver is at none of those three unless they tell you otherwise.
Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.
Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.
Rank, ride-hail, drop-off and the facts that move the meter
The airport shuttles are timed to domestic arrivals
This is the single most useful thing to know before you land here. Havaş returns departures out of Marmaris and Fethiye towards the airport, one travel date at a time, but in the other direction it returns a note instead of any departure list, and the note says services are laid on for domestic flights landing at Dalaman. A British charter arriving into the international terminal is not what that sentence is describing.
(Havaş, checked 16 September 2026)The other operator says the same thing in capitals
MUTTAŞ, the Metropolitan Municipality's own operator, states on its Fethiye line page that return times from Dalaman Airport vary with aircraft landing times and that its vehicles meet passengers coming out of the domestic terminals at the landing time of every domestic flight. It also sells no reservation and no advance ticket on its airport vehicles, though it takes cards on all of them.
(MUTTAŞ, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, checked 16 September 2026)The rank runs on a price list, not a meter
The airport names the Dalaman Airport Taxi Cooperative as its taxi provider, and the cooperative publishes a fixed list from the airport: 3,000 lira to Fethiye over 60 km, 3,500 to Hisarönü and Ölüdeniz over 80 km, 5,000 to Marmaris over 105 km, 5,200 to İçmeler over 110 km and 6,500 to Kalkan over 140 km. Its own sterling column puts Fethiye at 50 pounds, which is the figure to read against the live quote on the corridor you are actually travelling.
(Muğla/Dalaman Havalimanı Taksi Kooperatifi, the taxi operator named by the airport, checked 16 September 2026)The public fares are the municipality's, not the operator's
Havaş and MUTTAŞ quote the same numbers because the numbers are not theirs. MUTTAŞ publishes the Muğla airport fare table, which prices Dalaman Airport to Fethiye bus station at 59 km for 300 lira and to Marmaris at 97 km for 420 lira, rounded to multiples of ten. The same table lists no Ölüdeniz, no İçmeler and no Kalkan. The airport, for its part, names Ölüdeniz, Kalkan and Kaş among the ten destinations it gives for its ten million passenger capacity. The gap between what this airport is for and where the scheduled network stops is published by the two sides themselves.
(MUTTAŞ, a subsidiary of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, checked 16 September 2026)The town line stops mid-afternoon
MUTTAŞ line 8-11 links Dalaman and the airport through the town centre over 17 km, departing the central stop in Dalaman district, with seven departures a day from the airport. The last one leaves at 17:20, weekdays and weekends alike. Land later than that and the line has finished for the day.
(MUTTAŞ, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, checked 16 September 2026)The car park gives you a free quarter of an hour, then charges by the hour
Dalaman runs a fee calculator on its own parking page, and the information text beside it says the first 15 minutes are free, so a set-down is free if you are quick about it. Past that DHMİ sets the tariff and last updated it in the January 2026 period: an automobile pays 140 lira for anything up to an hour and 480 lira for a 12 to 24 hour stay, VAT included, and fees are collected in cash at the exit. The published principles also give you 20 minutes to leave after paying and charge the excess at the tariff.
(DHMİ, published by YDA Dalaman Airport, checked 16 September 2026)The airport sells a meet and greet of its own
YDA's Fast Track Meet & Greet is an airport product, not ours. For international arrivals it covers being met at the bridge exit, priority passport passage and an escort through baggage claim. If you have bought that, you are being met airside before you ever reach your driver, and the two arrangements do not replace each other.

How much is a taxi from Dalaman Airport?
Our price is quoted live on this page and fixed the moment you book. From the rank it is not a meter either: the Dalaman Airport Taxi Cooperative publishes a fixed list, which gives 1,200 lira for Dalaman and Akkaya, 3,000 lira for Fethiye, 3,500 for Hisarönü and Ölüdeniz, 5,000 for Marmaris, 5,200 for İçmeler and 6,500 for Kalkan. Compare the two figures on the corridor you are actually travelling, because the gap between them is not the same on every one.
Is there a bus from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris or Fethiye?
Yes, two operators run one. Havaş gives Marmaris as 420 lira over 90 minutes by way of Ortaca, Köyceğiz and Gökova, and Fethiye as 300 lira over 60 minutes by way of Göcek and Günlükbaşı. MUTTAŞ, the Metropolitan Municipality's operator, works the same two corridors on its own lines, 48-26 from Marmaris bus station to the airport over 100 km and 48-25 from Fethiye over 55 km, and the Muğla airport fare table prices them identically at 420 and 300 lira because the fares are the municipality's rather than each operator's.
What time does the airport bus leave Dalaman Airport?
That is the awkward question here, and the honest answer is that neither operator publishes a departure time for it. Havaş returns departures only in the resort to airport direction, and only for the single travel date you ask it for, so even that list is not a standing timetable. In the airport to resort direction it returns a note instead, saying services are laid on for domestic flights landing at Dalaman. MUTTAŞ states the same thing on its Fethiye line page: return times from the airport follow aircraft landing times, and its vehicles meet passengers coming from the domestic terminals.
How do I get from Dalaman Airport to Dalaman town centre?
MUTTAŞ line 8-11 connects Dalaman and the airport through the town centre over 17 km, departing the central stop in Dalaman district, with seven departures a day from the airport at 07:50, 08:50, 10:20, 12:20, 13:50, 15:20 and 17:20, the same on weekdays and at weekends. Muğla charges its lines by distance band on an electronic card, and we read 17 km into the 15 to 20 kilometre band, which is 66 lira for an adult on the civilian column; the table's footnote charges district minibus-class vehicles on the 2D Muğla Plus Kart column instead, 87 lira over the same band. The table names no lines, so take either figure as our arithmetic rather than a fare published for this service. Land after the middle of the afternoon and the line is finished for the day.
Is Uber available at Dalaman Airport?
The airport does not list it. YDA's Transportation menu for Dalaman covers airlines, the airport map, bus and public transport, parking, car rental and taxi, and there is no ride-hailing page and no published ride-hail pick-up zone among them. Plan on a pre-booked car or the rank.
Where do I meet my driver at Dalaman Airport?
At the airport's designated pick-up point on the arrivals level. YDA publishes no meeting point of its own for pre-booked drivers: its taxi page gives the cooperative's numbers and website and nothing about where a booked car waits, and the only rank address published anywhere is the cooperative's own branch at the international terminal. So ring your driver as soon as you land, on the number in your supplier details email, and they will tell you exactly where to walk. Express pick-up of that kind is included in what you paid; being met inside the hall with a name board is meet and greet, a paid extra at checkout.
Which terminal will I arrive at?
Whichever your airline uses. The airport has two buildings, Terminal 1 and the larger Terminal 2 that opened in July 2018, and in both of them arriving passengers are on the ground and first floors while departures sit on the second and third. Give your flight number when you book and the pick-up is matched to the terminal you actually land at.
How much is parking at Dalaman Airport if someone drops me off?
The first 15 minutes are free, which covers an ordinary set-down. The airport runs a fee calculator on its parking page and the information text beside it says so. After that DHMİ sets the tariff and last revised it in the January 2026 period: 140 lira for up to an hour, rising to 480 lira for a 12 to 24 hour stay, VAT included, and the money is taken in cash at the exit. If you do pay, the published rules give you 20 minutes to get out before the excess is charged at the tariff.
Is a booked car always cheaper than the rank?
Not necessarily, and we would rather say so here. On the long corridors the gap is wide in our favour. On the short ones the cooperative's own published list sits close to our live price, and which of the two is lower can change from one day's quote to the next. Read the live price above against the list figure for your destination and pick on the number, not on the principle.
How many of us fit in one vehicle?
A saloon takes up to three passengers and three standard suitcases. An estate takes four passengers and three suitcases, a people carrier takes five passengers and four suitcases, and the largest vehicle we quote takes up to eight passengers. Prices are per vehicle rather than per seat, so a party of four is not four fares, but it does need the estate or the people carrier rather than the saloon.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes, on request when you book. Tell us the ages and we pass it to the supplier with the job. Seats are not something to count on finding at a rank at midnight, which is the usual reason families booking into the Turkish coast book ahead.
What happens if my flight is late, and can I cancel?
We track the flight and move the pick-up to the real landing time at no extra charge, so book for the scheduled arrival rather than padding it. The free waiting window included in your fare starts when the aircraft lands. Cancel more than 24 hours before pick-up and you pay nothing; inside 24 hours the booking is charged in full. Payment is online by card when you book, for the whole vehicle.
How far ahead do I need to book a transfer from Dalaman Airport?
At least 24 hours before your pick-up. We can't take bookings at shorter notice here. If you have just landed and need a car now, the airport taxi rank is the quickest option.
