San Antonio to Ibiza Airport taxi

From £79.83 fixed for a pre-booked saloon to Ibiza Airport.

A car booked ahead between San Antonio and Ibiza Airport is from £79.83 for a saloon, fixed once you pay, covering 13.8 miles in about 24 minutes. Read this first: from 1 May to 30 September the ALSA Ibiza AERO1 runs the same journey every half hour for 4.00 euros on a bank card, so in high summer a couple with cabin bags has a cheap and frequent alternative. From 1 November to 31 March that same line drops to five departures a day.

When not to book us: In high summer, buy the bus ticket. From 1 May to 30 September the AERO1 leaves every half hour in both directions, takes 50 minutes through Sant Josep, and costs 4.00 euros on a bank card, which nothing with four wheels and a driver is going to beat for two people with cabin bags going to a hotel near the Sant Antoni bus station. What tips the other way is the calendar and the geography. From 1 November to 31 March that line runs five times a day: the last departure from the airport is at 20:00 and the one before it at 18:00, so a winter evening arrival either waits for the morning or does not use the bus at all. Even in season the last airport departure is 1:30, which a delayed flight can easily miss. And Sant Antoni is not only the bay front. Cala de Bou, Port des Torrent, the hills behind the town and the villa lanes off the Sant Josep road are all a further leg once the bus has finished, uphill, with the cases, in the heat. Book the car for those, for a party of four or more, where an estate or a people carrier is one price for the car on the booking form and the seat fares stop being cheap, and for the arrival that lands after the timetable has gone to bed.

Where you meet your driver

  1. Book to the actual address, not to San Antonio in general. Cala de Bou, Port des Torrent and the lanes climbing away from the bay are separate journeys with separate quotes, and the postcode is what stops a driver arriving at the wrong end of the one-way system along the front.
  2. Coming in, walk out into arrivals. Ibiza Airport publishes no fixed meeting point for pre-booked drivers, so go where your driver tells you. Do not join the line of cars along the terminal frontage: that is the municipal rank, capped at twenty cars with the rest queueing behind the building, and it has nothing to do with your booking.
  3. Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email. Screenshot that email before you fly, it arrives separately from the booking confirmation.
  4. Express pick-up is what the fixed price includes: your driver is waiting at the designated point rather than in the hall. Being met inside arrivals with a name board is meet and greet, a paid extra you choose at checkout.
  5. Going out, allow for the fact that the Sant Antoni road runs through Sant Josep and thickens in the evening. Flight tracking is included on the inbound leg.

Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.

Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.

The return direction is quoted separately, because the two legs can be won by different operators. It is currently from £79.83 for a saloon.

Questions people ask about this route

How much is a taxi from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

Our price is quoted live on this page in pounds before you book and does not move afterwards. A rank car runs on the meter instead: 4.00 euros to start, 1.21 euros per kilometre by day and a 2.00 euro airport supplement, over the roughly 20 kilometres the Sant Antoni council gives between the town and the airport. After 21:00 on a weekday, from 15:00 on a Saturday and on holidays the higher night rate applies.

Is there a bus from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

Yes, the ALSA Ibiza AERO1, which runs Sant Antoni to Sant Josep to the airport. From 1 May to 30 September it goes every 30 minutes, with airport departures from 7:00 to 1:30 and a 50 minute run. From 1 to 30 April and 1 to 31 October it is hourly. From 1 November to 31 March it is five departures a day. The line's town end is the Sant Antoni Bus Station, from which the council's own transport page says ALSA Ibiza runs the rest of the intercity network.

How much is the AERO1 bus from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

5.60 euros if you pay the driver in cash, or 4.00 euros if you tap a bank card or scan a QR code. The 2.00 euro fare quoted on the operator's own table is the general travel card price, and that card requires legal residence on Ibiza, so a visitor cannot buy it.

How long does it take to get from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

The AERO1 takes 50 minutes, calling at Sant Josep about 30 minutes in. A car goes direct over roughly 20 kilometres and is quicker outside the summer peak, though the same road carries everyone else in July and August.

What is the last bus from Ibiza Airport to San Antonio?

In high season, 1:30 from the airport. In April and October, 0:00. From 1 November to 31 March the last one is 20:00, with only 6:15, 8:45, 12:30, 18:00 and 20:00 running all day. A late winter landing has no bus to catch, which is the single clearest case for booking a car on this pair.

Is it cheaper to take the bus than book a transfer to San Antonio?

For one or two people in summer, yes, and we would rather write that down than have you find out at the stand. What the car buys is different: it goes to the door rather than to the station, the price is fixed in pounds before you travel, the driver is already there when you land, and nobody carries a case up from the bay in August heat.

Can you take us to Cala de Bou or Port des Torrent?

Yes, each quoted to its own address rather than at a flat San Antonio rate. Put the postcode into the form and the price shown is for that journey. This matters more here than in most places, because the accommodation spreads a long way round the bay and up the hill behind it.

Where do I find my driver at Ibiza Airport?

At the airport's designated pick-up point, and you reach them on the number in your supplier details email. Do not look for them in the rank: that is the municipal queue, capped at twenty cars along the terminal frontage with the rest waiting in a second cordon behind the building.

Can you collect very early for a morning departure?

Yes, and the amount does not rise because of the hour. It is agreed when you book rather than counted up on a meter that switches to a higher rate overnight, which is the practical difference when you are leaving the bay before the town has gone to bed.

Can I cancel or change the booking?

A cancellation made more than 24 hours before pick-up is free; inside 24 hours the full amount is charged. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, fixed when you book and paid online by card. Child seats are available on request if you ask when booking.
