Fuerteventura Airport to Caleta de Fuste taxi
From £33.35 fixed for a pre-booked saloon to Fuerteventura Airport.
Caleta de Fuste is the closest resort to Fuerteventura Airport: 4.3 miles south on the FV-2, about 8 minutes at the wheel, and from £33.35 for a saloon booked ahead and settled before you fly. Read this before you book anything: Tiadhe's line 3 serves this exact corridor, Aena lists it as an airport line, and the operator publishes the Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste fare at 1.45 euros. On the shortest transfer on the island, the honest answer is that many people do not need a car at all.

When not to book us: On this pair we would rather lose the booking than mislead you. Caleta de Fuste is 8.1 km from the terminal, Aena names line 3 as an airport line, and Tiadhe prices the Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste leg at 1.45 euros. Even the rank is modest here: on the March 2023 interurban tariff, a 3.85 euro start covering the first 1,500 metres, then 1.35 euros a kilometre over the rest of the 8.1 km, plus the 2.10 euro airport supplement, is around 15 euros by day. Two adults travelling light in the afternoon have very little to gain from booking anything, and Aena puts the signed rank on floor 0 in arrivals. What flips it is circumstance rather than distance. Airport access on line 3 stops at 23:00 Monday to Saturday and at 22:00 in the return direction on Sundays and public holidays, which is earlier than a good many charters land, and the night meter runs at 1.55 euros a kilometre with a higher minimum. The resort is strung out between the marina, the golf courses and the Las Salinas end, so the nearest scheduled stop is not necessarily near your door. Book the car for a night landing, for a party of four or more, which is an estate or a people carrier priced the same way as one car on the booking form, for the far end of the resort, and for the return leg to an early departure when nothing scheduled has started yet.
Where you meet your driver
- Give us the hotel or apartment name, not just Caleta de Fuste. The marina, the Castillo side and the golf resorts sit on different access roads, and naming the building is what keeps the driver from circling.
- Come through into the arrivals hall on floor 0 and call your driver there. The number is in your supplier details email, which is sent separately from the booking confirmation.
- Your car waits at the designated pick-up point for pre-booked vehicles rather than at the rank. On such a short run the walk to the car is a meaningful share of the journey, so it is worth reading the driver's message before you set off in any direction.
- The free waiting window in your fare runs from touchdown and the inbound flight is tracked at no charge, so a slow passport queue does not cost you the transfer. Express pick-up is included; a name board inside the hall is meet and greet, added at checkout.
- For the return, book against the flight rather than the clock. Fuerteventura's first wave of departures leaves before anything scheduled is moving, and the drive north on the FV-2 takes about 11 minutes with the road to itself.
Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.
Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.
Caleta de Fuste to Fuerteventura Airport
The return direction is quoted separately, because the two legs can be won by different operators. It is currently from £33.35 for a saloon.
Questions people ask about this route
How far is Caleta de Fuste from Fuerteventura Airport?
About 8.1 km, or 5.1 miles by our routing, straight down the FV-2, which is roughly 11 minutes of free-flow driving. It is the shortest of the island's main resort transfers by a wide margin.
Is there a bus from Fuerteventura Airport to Caleta de Fuste?
Yes. Aena names line 3, Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste to Las Salinas, as one of three Tiadhe lines calling at the terminal stop on Floor 0, Departures. Tiadhe prices the Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste leg at 1.45 euros.
What time does the bus stop serving the airport?
Tiadhe names the last services with airport access on line 3 as 23:00 from Puerto del Rosario towards Las Salinas and 23:15 in the return direction, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays it is 23:00 towards Caleta de Fuste and 22:00 coming back. A charter landing at midnight is outside all of those.
How much is a taxi from the rank to Caleta de Fuste?
It is metered, not fixed, and it is not on the town tariff: the airport is outside the casco urbano, so the Canary Islands interurban rate applies from origin. As of the March 2023 order that is 1.35 euros a kilometre between 06:00 and 22:00 on working days and 1.55 euros between 22:00 and 06:00 and on Sundays and public holidays, with a minimum of 3.85 or 4.25 euros covering the first 1,500 metres, plus 2.10 euros because the trip starts at an airport. Over that distance, about 8.1 km by our routing, the meter comes to roughly 15 euros by day and about 17 euros at night.
What is the local taxi tariff in Caleta de Fuste itself?
Antigua's urban table as approved in 2012 was 2.30 euros by day and 2.95 euros from 22:00 to 06:00 and on public holidays, each covering the first 1,017 metres, then 0.59 euros a kilometre with a waiting hour of 13.00 euros, and it carried no luggage supplement. It has no airport charge because it never governs an airport run, which takes the interurban tariff from origin.
Can I just book a rank taxi in advance instead?
A Puerto del Rosario rank licence taking pre-contracted airport work has to file it with the Municipal Coordination Centre at least 48 hours before a national or international arrival, and 24 hours before an inter-island one, and then wait where the airport signposts rather than on the rank. It is not the same thing as booking a transfer online the night before.
Where exactly is the taxi rank at the airport?
Terminal, Floor 0, Arrivals. Aena asks passengers to use only the signed rank, to ignore anyone offering a lift away from it, and to ask for a receipt if they want to complain about a fare.
What are the cancellation terms?
Cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up and there is nothing to pay. Inside 24 hours the fare is charged in full. Payment is taken online by card at the price quoted, which does not move afterwards.
Which vehicle will I get, and is the price per seat?
It is for the vehicle, never per traveller. A saloon carries up to three passengers with three standard suitcases, an estate four, a people carrier five, and an eight-seat van a larger group. Child seats can be added on request. We sell private transfers only, never a seat alongside strangers.
Do you serve the golf resorts and the Las Salinas end?
Yes, quoted to the individual address. Caleta de Fuste is spread out enough that a single resort-wide price would be wrong at one end or the other, so the form above prices the actual door.
