Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo taxi
From £75.91 fixed for a pre-booked saloon to Fuerteventura Airport.
A pre-booked car from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo is from £75.91 for a saloon, agreed before you fly and unchanged on arrival. The road run is 23.1 miles in about 33 minutes, north on the FV-2 past Puerto del Rosario and then up the FV-1 along the east coast. The reason people book this pair rather than trusting the timetable is the Tiadhe connection: the operator's own fare panel shows the airport link on the Corralejo line running Monday to Friday only.

How this compares
| Option | Cost for 2 | Journey time | Door to door? | Pre-bookable? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Airport Taxi Hub, pre-booked | Cost for 2: £75.91 one price per car, up to 3 passengersFrom £75.91, fixed, including 60 minutes free waiting after your flight lands | Journey time: 33 minutes | Door to door? Yes | Pre-bookable? Yes |
| Taxi from the airport rank | Cost for 2: Interurban meter, which is the only tariff an airport run can use: a 3.85 euro start by day or 4.25 euros at night covering the first 1,500 metres, then 1.35 euros a kilometre by day and 1.55 euros at night, on Sundays and on public holidays, plus a 2.10 euro airport supplement, so roughly 53 euros by day and 61 euros at night | Journey time: Open ended over 36.6 km, and dearer after 22:00 and all day on Sundays and public holidays | Door to door? Yes | Pre-bookable? No |
| Tiadhe line 6 via Puerto del Rosario | Cost for 2: 3.90 euros Corralejo to the airport on the marked service, or 3.40 euros between Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo | Journey time: Not published by the operator | Door to door? No | Pre-bookable? No |
When not to book us: Land on a weekday with one small case and plenty of daylight and the scheduled option is close to unbeatable on money: Tiadhe publishes 3.90 euros between Corralejo and the airport on the marked service. Nobody should pretend a booked car competes with that for a solo traveller, and we are not going to. Where the arithmetic has genuinely moved is the rank. As of the March 2023 order the interurban meter starts at 3.85 euros for the first 1,500 metres and then charges 1.35 euros a kilometre by day, and 36.6 km plus the 2.10 euro airport supplement comes to roughly 53 euros before a second of waiting, rising to about 61 euros between 22:00 and 06:00 and all day on Sundays and public holidays. A fixed figure agreed before you fly is a different proposition against that than against a 3.90 euro ticket. The rest of the case is the shape of this corridor. Aena names only three lines at the terminal and the Corralejo line is not among them, so the cheap fare depends on the variant Tiadhe marks Monday to Friday, and the last run off the Muelle de Corralejo is at 20:50. Charter flights land well after that, and the FV-1 north of Puerto del Rosario is not a road to be solving at midnight with a family and a fortnight of luggage. Book the car for a late arrival, for four or more people in an estate or a people carrier, priced the same way as one car on the booking form, for the Grandes Playas hotels at the far end of town, and for the morning you are catching the Playa Blanca boat.
Where you meet your driver
- Book to the actual address in Corralejo rather than to the town. The old harbour end, the Avenida Grandes Playas hotels and the villa estates behind the dunes are separate journeys, and the postcode is what stops a driver waiting at the wrong end of a long one-way seafront.
- Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email. Screenshot that email before you fly, because it arrives separately from the booking confirmation.
- Meet at the airport's designated pick-up point rather than at the taxi rank. Canary Islands law bars a vehicle working under a hire-with-driver authorisation from setting down or picking up at a taxi rank or a scheduled service stop, or within one hundred metres either side, so a pre-booked car working under that authorisation waits away from the rank. Follow your driver's directions rather than the taxi signs.
- Flight tracking is included, so a delayed inbound moves the collection rather than forfeiting it, and free waiting starts when the wheels are down. Express pick-up is the standard service; being met in the hall with a name board is meet and greet, a paid extra chosen at checkout.
- Going the other way, give yourself the full run. The drive back down the FV-1 and FV-2 is about 36 minutes free-flow, and Fuerteventura's east coast road carries the island's commuter traffic in the morning.

The return direction is quoted separately, because the two legs can be won by different operators. It is currently from £75.91 for a saloon.
Questions people ask about this route
How long does it take to get from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo?
About 36 minutes of free-flow driving over roughly 36.6 km by our routing, north on the FV-2 and then the FV-1. Free-flow assumes an empty road, so allow more around the Puerto del Rosario approaches in the morning.
Is there a bus from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo?
Not on Aena's list of airport lines, which names only line 3 to Caleta de Fuste, line 10 to Morro Jable and line 16 to Gran Tarajal. Tiadhe's own line 6 fare panel does publish 3.90 euros between Corralejo and the airport, on a variant its key marks as running Monday to Friday and calling at the hospital and the airport. On a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday the answer is line 6 to Puerto del Rosario and a change there.
How much is a taxi from Fuerteventura Airport to Corralejo?
There is no fixed rank price. The run leaves the casco urbano, so the Canary Islands interurban meter applies from origin. As of the March 2023 order that is 1.35 euros a kilometre between 06:00 and 22:00 on working days and 1.55 euros between 22:00 and 06:00 and on Sundays and public holidays, with a minimum of 3.85 or 4.25 euros covering the first 1,500 metres and 2.10 euros added for starting at an airport. Over that distance, about 36.6 km by our routing, the meter comes to roughly 53 euros by day and about 61 euros at night, before any waiting. Our price is quoted live above and fixed at booking.
What is the taxi tariff in Corralejo itself?
Corralejo is in La Oliva, whose urban table as approved in 2012 started at 2.30 euros by day and 2.95 euros from 22:00 to 06:00 and on public holidays, each including the first 1,017 metres, then 0.59 euros a kilometre with a waiting hour of 13.00 euros. It has no airport charge in it because it never governs an airport run: the interurban tariff applies from origin the moment a service leaves the casco urbano.
What time does the last bus leave Corralejo?
Tiadhe's note on line 6 covers the Corralejo to Puerto del Rosario direction: those services leave the Muelle de Corralejo ten minutes before the published time, the first at 06:35 Monday to Friday and 06:50 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and the last from the quay at 20:50. Nothing leaves the quay after that, so an evening flight home and a landing later than the last connection both put you outside the scheduled network.
We are getting the boat to Lanzarote. Does that change anything?
It changes the margin for error. Fred Olsen Express describes the Corralejo to Playa Blanca crossing as 25 or 35 minutes with fares from 8 euros. A booked car puts you at the quay at a known time; a rank meter and a scheduled connection both leave you doing arithmetic on the pavement.
Can a pre-booked car collect me at the taxi rank?
No, and the reason is regulatory rather than preference. Canary Islands Law 4/2025 allows a vehicle under a hire-with-driver authorisation to stand at an airport only when it is already contracted and working, and bars it from setting down or picking up at a taxi rank or a scheduled stop, or within one hundred metres either side. That is why a pre-booked pick-up happens away from the rank.
Do you cover El Cotillo, Lajares and Villaverde too?
Yes, each priced to its own address rather than lumped into a Corralejo rate. Put the address into the form above and the figure you see is for that journey.
Can I change or cancel the booking?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before travel; inside 24 hours the booking is charged in full. Amendments go through the link in your confirmation email to the same deadline. Payment is online by card and the amount is fixed when you book.
Is your price per person or for the car?
For the car. A saloon takes up to three passengers with three standard suitcases, an estate takes four and a people carrier five, and an eight-seat van covers a larger party. Child seats are available on request when you book. We only ever sell the whole vehicle, so nobody else is added to your car.
