Line 40 makes four calls along this strip. TITSA's leaflet lists the order as Estacion Costa Adeje, Magma, Llanos de Troya, Columbus, Zentral Center, El Camison, Los Cristianos and then Aeropuerto Sur, so the nearest of those four to your hotel is the one you want. El Camison is the last before Los Cristianos on the way to the airport.

TITSA's leaflet prices the full route at 3,70 EUR, paid in cash or with a Ten+ card, and the airport is one end of that route. For one or two people travelling light, nothing on this page competes with it, and we would rather write that down than bury it.

The four stops the leaflet excludes are the autovia de Guaza, Parque La Reina, Chafiras and Casa Blanca, all on the motorway corridor and none of them on this strip, so they do not affect you. The rule that does is on the line page: in the Costa Adeje direction the line does not make intermediate stops to pick up, except where it is stopping to let someone off. Heading to the airport the strip stops are served normally.

About 18 minutes on an empty road over roughly 18.6 km, which is 11.6 miles. That figure has no traffic model in it, so the TF-1 on a Saturday changeover afternoon will be slower.

Line 40's last departure from the airport is 21:40. After that the night option is line 711, but only southbound, and it passes the airport between 23:00 and 4:50. Land between 21:40 and 23:00, or between 4:50 and line 40 restarting at 6:30, and nothing is scheduled towards Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos or Costa Adeje. Line 415 calls at 5:55, 6:00, 6:25 and 6:30 on working days, but it runs inland to El Fraile and San Isidro and will not get you to the strip.

The rank is worked to a compulsory rota. Granadilla de Abona's taxi regulation makes attendance at the airport ranks and shifts obligatory and covered every day of the year, with a minimum number of vehicles at each rank. Aena still asks you to use only the signed rank at the terminal and to take a receipt.

Uber lists both Arona and Adeje, the two municipalities this resort straddles, among its Canary Islands cities, and says on its Adeje page that a taxi cannot be requested there through the app, only UberX at an upfront price. Listing an area is not the same as a car being free at the terminal at the hour you land.

Not really. Los Cristianos is the stop immediately after El Camison on the way to the airport, so the same line serves both and the walk buys you nothing but a hill. Our price covers the vehicle rather than the seat, which only starts to win once the party or the luggage grows.

Yes, provided it is declared in the booking and not sprung at the kerb. Three passengers and three standard suitcases fit a saloon, an estate carries a fourth passenger with the same three cases, five travel in a people carrier and eight in a van. Seats for children are arranged on request.

No. The inbound is watched and the collection is reset to the actual landing time at no charge, with the free waiting window in your fare running from touchdown.
