Antalya Airport to Alanya taxi

From £54.99 fixed for a pre-booked saloon to Antalya Airport.

A private car from Antalya Airport to Alanya is from £54.99 for a saloon, fixed the moment you book. It covers 77.0 miles in about 1 hour 58 minutes. The thing to understand about this pair is the length of it: the provincial culture and tourism directorate gives Alanya as 130 km from the airport, and nothing bound for Alanya leaves the airport at all, so the cheap option starts with crossing Antalya to the terminal 4 km north of the city centre.

When not to book us: For two people travelling light on a daytime flight, the minibus will cost less than any car and we would rather say so. The municipal transport company runs the terminal at the Alanya end as well as the Antalya one, so it is a proper service rather than an improvisation. What it is not is a transfer. You leave the airport, cross Antalya to the terminal 4 km north of the city centre, buy from whichever operator is next out, ride 130 km east, and arrive at Alanya's terminal rather than at your hotel, where you start a third leg. Three changes with cases, and no part of it is priced or timed by the airport. Note also what the vehicle is. The airport describes the Alanya run as one of the minibus services working inside Antalya province, not as an intercity coach, and a minibus has a boot sized to match: the directorate's remark about Alanya's direct coach links is about arrivals from İstanbul and Ankara, not about this leg. The car makes its case on the length of the thing. At 130 km this is the longest of the four Antalya corridors we price, and it is the one where a metered fare has the most room to run and a fixed one the most to protect. It is also the corridor where a delayed flight hurts most: a departure you have missed at ten at night is a problem you solve in a city you have never been to, and a booked car is simply still there.

Where you meet your driver

  1. Book to the hotel name and the neighbourhood, not to Alanya. The town runs a long way along the coast road either side of the castle headland, and Hisariçi in the old town, the harbour and the beach strips are separate places to a driver.
  2. Come out of the arrivals exit and ring your driver straight away. The number is in your supplier details email, which arrives separately from the booking confirmation, so put it in your phone before you leave home.
  3. Walk past the rank rather than into it. The airport puts its taxi ranks directly in front of the arrival exits of every terminal, so the queue is the first thing you meet, and your driver is not standing in it.
  4. Express pick-up is included in what you paid, with the driver at the airport's designated pick-up point. If you would rather be met inside the hall with a name board, that is meet and greet, a paid extra chosen at checkout.
  5. A late arrival matters more on this run than on any of the others. Your flight is tracked at no charge and the free waiting window in your fare starts when the aircraft lands, and the driver still has the full 130 km to do afterwards.

Contact your driver as soon as you land, their number is in your supplier details email.

Arrivals-hall meet and greet with a name board is available as a paid extra at checkout.

Alanya to Antalya Airport

The return direction is quoted separately, because the two legs can be won by different operators. It is currently from £54.99 for a saloon.

Questions people ask about this route

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Alanya?

Ours is on this page, live, and it stops moving the moment you book. The rank answer is the opposite shape: a meter runs for all 130 km the provincial directorate gives for this pair, and you cannot look the total up first. What the airport publishes is a board beside the rank, not a fare, and the tariff behind that board belongs to UKOME at the metropolitan municipality, whose published decisions would not give up a current taxi figure to us. On the longest of these four runs, that is a lot of unknown to be carrying.

Is there a bus or coach from Antalya Airport to Alanya?

Not from the airport, and not a coach either. The airport lists Alanya among the routes worked by the minibuses that serve Antalya province, running from the intercity bus terminal about 4 km north of the city centre, so you have to get across town before you start. The terminal is run by the municipal transport company, which also runs the one at the Alanya end, and the fare is set by whichever operator you buy from rather than published centrally.

How long is the drive to Alanya?

It is the longest transfer we price out of this airport. The provincial culture and tourism directorate gives 130 km, east along the coast past Serik and Manavgat, and the road carries holiday traffic all summer. The live quote above gives the driving time our supplier's route returns for your exact address.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes, tell us at booking. On a run of this length most families want one break, and a stop agreed in advance costs nothing extra, where a rank meter simply keeps counting while you are out of the car.

What will the weather be when we land?

The directorate gives Alanya an average of 28 to 30 degrees in the hottest month and 8 to 10 in the coldest, with an annual mean of 18 and snow and frost described as very rare. The point for the transfer is the summer end of that: a long wait outside with cases in August is a different experience from the same wait in April.

Where is the castle and the old town?

On the headland above the harbour. The castle is an open air museum at Hisariçi Mahallesi with 6.5 km of walls, open daily from 08:00 until 17:30 with the ticket window shutting at 17:00, and the Red Tower of 1226 stands 33 metres at the bottom of it. Hotels described as being in the old town are up that hill, which is worth saying to the driver.

Where will my driver be at the airport?

At the airport's designated pick-up point. Ring them on the number in your supplier details email as soon as you are on the ground and they will tell you exactly where to walk. Express pick-up is included; being met in the hall with a name board is meet and greet, a paid extra at checkout.

Can you collect from an Alanya hotel for an early flight back?

Yes, at any hour, at the price fixed when you booked. Give the hotel name and the street in the booking notes. Reception will usually have the pick-up time on their own sheet as well, which is worth checking the night before on a run this long.

How many of us fit in one vehicle?

Count the cases before the heads, especially on a run this long. A saloon seats three and takes three standard suitcases. The estate adds a fourth seat but not a fourth case. A people carrier goes to five people and four cases, and the largest vehicle we quote holds eight of each. Golf bags and pushchairs occupy a case's worth of space, so tell us at booking and we send the size that fits. Child seats are a request on the booking.

What if our flight is late, and what if we cancel?

We track the flight and move the pick-up to the real landing time at no charge, and the free waiting window in your fare starts when the aircraft is down. Cancel more than 24 hours before pick-up and nothing is charged; inside 24 hours the fare is payable in full. Payment is online by card at booking, for the whole vehicle rather than per seat.
